R-Trade

An adaptive trading interface that grows from beginner to expert

R-Trade

R-Trade is a UI/UX concept study — a trading app whose interface adapts to the person using it. An on-device model reads what each trader reaches for, and what they skip, then quietly reshapes the screen around them: beginner today, expert in ninety days. It's an interactive prototype, built to be explored rather than a shipped product.

Same app, same trader — now it's teaching covered calls. The interface earned the complexity.

It watches what you reach for and reshapes the screen — and you can ask what it learned, or undo any of it.

The premise

Most trading apps greet a nervous first-timer and a ten-year veteran with the same dense screen. R-Trade asks a different question: what if the interface earned its complexity — revealing depth only as the trader is ready for it?

How it works

An on-device model (nothing leaves the phone) reads interaction signals — what's tapped, what's skipped, where attention lingers — and builds a live trait map. The cockpit reshapes to match: a conservative beginner sees Bollinger-band basics on day one; ninety days later the same app is walking them through covered calls. An assistant explains what it has learned about you, and lets you undo any of it, any time.

What it is

A polished, interactive prototype — a concept study in adaptive, privacy-respecting interface design. It runs a short guided tour, then hands over the controls: Classic vs Beginner Cockpit, and a Day 1 / 30 / 90 timeline you can scrub to watch the interface grow.

What shipped
  • Interface adapts to each trader via an on-device model
  • Live trait map built from real interaction signals — nothing leaves the phone
  • Grows from beginner basics to options education over ~90 days
  • Guided onboarding tour, then full hands-on control
